I will be attending these events on the run up to Christmas. On the 13th /14th November is Compton Verney Textile Fair, this is a very popular event and it is ticketed so if you have not bought your ticket yet I would advise to get it now. The quality of art on show over these 2 days is impeccable, there are many talented makers and artists in this area and I am honoured to be part of the weekend. It is the highlight of my fair calendar and I am so happy to be there in real life this year, not virtually.
Stoneleigh Abbey is just so pretty and the perfect setting for a Christmas Fair. A new fair for me, sometimes something new can be refreshing. The romance of the setting and stable yard will make this fair to remember, Im sure someone mentioned Santa is coming too!
I am looking forward to teaching Hand Painted Rustic Decorations on the 27th November. This workshop is in conjunction with Adult Education in Coventry and is at Southfields Old School, Coventry. We will be hand painting Christmas designs to hang on your tree with acrylics and I will guide you in how to create your own designs and special effects with toothbrushes! To round of my travels I will be showcasing my work at Fargo in Coventry. Again, this is a new show for me but as Coventry is my home city I feel proud to be taking part. Fargo has a lovey atmosphere and I'm sure we will all have plenty of Christmas spirit that weekend !
