Join Emma in the Weston Room for this all day workshop in watercolour weaving.. Learn how to paint a simple seascape in watercolour, then turn it into a woven piece of art. In the morning we will be working on a bigger easier piece to get the hang of how to weave, then we will move onto a smaller seascape. This is a fiddly workshop and you will be using your hands a lot to weave small pieces of watercolour paper. This workshop is suitable for all levels. Expert tuition will be given throughout the day with step by step demonstrations and one 2 one support. In this workshop you will learn: colour mixing, transferring images on to watercolour paper, the technique of weaving with paper, watercolour washes and further techniques. All materials are supplied on the day. Bring your own lunch, tea & coffee is available with a small charge and free biscuits!
