Service Description

Join Emma in the Weston Room for this full day workshop where we will be drawing and painting the proportions of a Highland Cow in acrylics. Firstly we will practice the elements in the painting drawing proportions and using acrylic painting techniques. We will then move onto creating the full painting using high quality materials. Emma will guide you step by step and help you with your progress individually and as a group. At the end of the workshop we will display all the work within the group and have a small group discussion. You will create a painting on canvas board. In this workshop you will learn: drawing techniques and proportion applying acrylic paint colour mixing brush strokes especially for fur painting on canvas board how to use a ground or underpainting tone, shade, light making black painting fur This workshop is open to all levels beginner to intermediate, and all are welcome. All materials are supplied on the day, you may want to bring an apron, plastic disposable aprons will be provided. Please bring your lunch. Refreshments are provided at a small charge plus free biscuits!
