Service Description
Alcohol Inks are addictive and this workshop is extremely popular! I can assure you after using them you will want to try them again and again, or maybe even buy some to use at home. Using pure alcohol, these inks can be moved and blown into different shapes, patterns and colour combinations. They are transparent and opaque and create amazing effects with simple techniques. In this workshop you will frame your favourite piece on the day and have more images to frame at home. The pictures from this workshop will make great gifts and gift ideas. In this workshop you will learn: how to use alcohol inks move and manipulate the inks with alcohol solution create abstract patterns use metallic inks use a straw use a hand held puffer frame a finished piece have lots of fun! The inks and solution do have give off a slight odour, the room will be well ventilated. No artistic experience is needed, just the willingness to have fun and go with it! All materials are supplied on the day, you may want to bring an apron, plastic disposable aprons will be provided. Please bring your lunch. Refreshments are provided at a small charge plus free biscuits!
