Jacob's Ladder oil on board 7" x 5" unframed

Painted from a photograph I took after walking down Jacob's Ladder in Sidmouth, Devon. I loved the red cliff against the blue sky, which on that day was very hot walking along the pebble beach. I almost forgot I fell over on the pebbles, making our walk worth the dramatic view.
