Painted from a photo I took while climbing up the hill to the Tor, this 7" x 5" oil on board captures the unique spirit of Glastonbury Tor. This was my second visit, and the story of the Tor, along with the feeling while being there, truly gives you 'the vibe.' As with my first visit, people dressed as fairies were chanting, singing, and simply being themselves—moments that inspired this intimate portrayal. Through my plein air approach and dedication to oil painting, I strive to convey not only the landscape but the essence of this mystical place. This piece invites you to experience the calm and connection that Glastonbury Tor so naturally provides.
