Service Description
Join Emma in the Weston Room where we will be printing summer images in lino print. Create your own lino plates and print images of sunflowers, beach huts, shells, fish ... anything summery in bright colours, yellows, blues, oranges or any colour you wish. Lino printing is a lot of fun and instant! Once you have made the lino cut you can then print away to your hearts content. You will produce many prints in this workshop which are great to make as cards or give framed as gifts. You will learn how: how to create lino cuts using cutting tools tranferring images to plate hand print techniques printing with inks colour mixing inks drawing simple images relating to summer ink rolling knowledge of printing papers mono printing in various colours In this workshop you will produce a card in the morning then moving onto small prints (max A4) in lino print in the afternoon. This workshop is open to all levels beginner to intermediate, and all are welcome. All materials are supplied on the day, you may want to bring an apron, plastic disposable aprons will be provided. Please bring your lunch. Refreshments are provided at a small charge plus free biscuits!
